In case you missed our fall Footnotes, learn about a first-time marathoner who ran with Team for Kids last year, Sandra Cotuna.

Sandra ran to fulfill a dream and to help fight childhood obesity. “We need to teach kids about healthy eating and exercise so they don’t have to go through what I did,” says Cotuna. “Running the marathon with TFK was a life-changing experience. And the best part is knowing I made a real impact on kids’ lives.”
