I’m running the Airbnb Brooklyn Half with New York Road Runners Team for Kids!

What excites you most about running your event with Team for Kids?
The course! I’m born and live in Brooklyn. Also all my cool TFK gear!

Where is your favorite place to run and why?
Wherever I’m with friends. It makes the time fly by!

If you run with music, what are your favorite artists or songs to listen to?
I listen to Navy military chants. It helps keep me on a rhythm. I also like Tupac. Lol

What is your favorite post-run meal?
Cookies. Chocolate chip to be specific. With milk!

When did your relationship with running begin and why?
Running the LA Marathon in 2007. It was great way to stay in shape and showed me so much of the city for free!

Do you have any pre-race rituals or superstitions?
I have to see my fiancée and parents or talk to them before a race. They give me strength. Also I like to wear the newest coolest run gear because I feel like a running superhero.

Why did you choose to run with Team for Kids?
Athletics made me the person I am today. I can’t imagine growing up without them. I want to give kids the same opportunities I had and help them build confidence to take on the world.

Tell us a little more about yourself.
I’m a huge sports fan. As a sports social media manager, it’s my life’s work but also my favorite pastime. Go Knicks! I’m crazy about my alma mater (University of Southern California), my family and my cat Hersey. I’ve never met a cookie I didn’t like and I’m the nicest New Yorker you’ll meet until you start walking slowly in front of me on the sidewalk.
